Lindåna HPP was built in close cooperation with Bekk og Strøm in 2010 and production was started in March 2011. The building itself was designed to fit in with the surrounding cabins of the area. Particular care was taken in designing a sound proofing system to reduce the bothersome sound from the turbine as it is located in a quiet scenic environment. Bekk og Strøm has involved us landowners from the beginning of the process up to today where we participate in the daily operation, maintenance, caretaking as well as administration. We are pleased with the cooperation we have had and still have with Bekk og Strøm.
