Boen Foss is located along the Tovdal river, which flows into the Topdalsfjord. The river is the longest free-flowing river in the Sørlandet area. The power plant was destroyed by the great flood in 2017.
Bekk and Strøm's Finnish business partner SV Vattenkraft AB aquired this historic power plant, and Bekk and Strøm are rehabilitating and will operate Boen Foss on behalf of the Finnish company.
Estimated annual production will be 23.5 GWh. The plant will reopen autumn 2020.
